The Ikarus E95, also built bu Ikarus EAG, is not really a city bus. STA uses these buses for sightseeing rides in Helsinki. The newest batch of these buses is fitted with a window all the way along the middle of the roof providing better visibility for looking at tall buildings. This has caused the cooling unit of the buses air conditioning device on the rear rof of the bus to be divided into two parts, one on each side of the window.
Ikarus also refits used chassises with this body (among others) and the buses used by STA are of this type. This is an easy way of extending the life of chassises, which last much longer than bodywork.
According to our informants a bogie version of this model is also in use.
