This DAB model designed solely for service routes for the elderly and disabled has many interesting structural solutions. The engine and rear-axle are located in a separate compartment at the rear of the bus, the supporting structures of the bus are inside the roof as with airplanes and the drivers seat is between the forn wheels, which are at the extreme front of the bus. These solutions allow for the placing of the totally flat floor the passenger area at a mere 17 centimetres fron the ground in driving position. With the help of the air suspension the floor can be raised or lowered 6,5 centimetres.

The "machinery package" that contains the engine and rear-axle can be removed from the rest of the bus quite easily for maintenance or replacement. The transmission of this bus is based on hydraulics. The diesel engine powers a hydraulic pump, from which the hydraulic oil is led to the hydraulic engine located on the centre line of the bus at the bottom of the engine room. The hydraulic engine drives the rear axle through a lowering gear. This solution has no gears in the traditional sense and the bus accelerates smoothly to its maximum speed, 80 kph. The engine system causes very little sound into the passenger compartment.
